Does anyone based in Australia have a local supplier\lab that they use for these type of AFO's....? or an alternative Australian made supplier of a similar AFO...?
Re: Australian supplier...? Ritchie Brace\Arizona AFO
Dear Camo,
There are two orthotists in melbourne victoria who regularly fit Arizona style AFO's. Both Andrew Clarke at Melbourne Orthotics (Blackburn) and myself at Victoria house in Prahran (we used to be affiliated). The use of these AFO's has been encouraged by two F&A orthopods who completed fellowships in the USA. I would be happy to discuss the use of the Arizona with you.
Regards Paul Retschko
Re: Australian supplier...? Ritchie Brace\Arizona AFO
Thanks for the update Paul, given the urgency of the AFO I contacted a number of European, Canadian and US suppliers and found KLM labs in CA the best option given the strength of the AUS dollar at the moment. Thanks for your details and I'm sure I will contact you soon when the need arises.
