The High Risk Diabetic Foot Seminar
Friday 26th October 2007At St Vincent’s in Melbourne


This inaugural one day seminar is aimed at the podiatrist
working with the high risk diabetic foot who wishes to
expand their knowledge beyond their colleagues.

There will also be an opportunity to look at the way
forward for the
“Advance Practicing Podiatrist”
Cost: Early Bird Before 28/9/07 $100
After 28/9/07 $150
Students (Undergrad or FT Post Grad) $75
Case Study Presenters Free

We are also putting out a call for case studies; The case studies
can either be on a single patient, a patient series, a new
technique or product or on a clinic experience.
Case Study Abstract Guidelines:
100 word maximum
Include descriptive information on what makes the case
innovative or interesting to the wider audience. Include
Presenters name, contact information and affiliation
Email abstract to mhrfcc@ozemail.com.au
Closing date 28/9/07

St. Vincent’s is located in Fitzroy 2km NE of the GPO at the corner of
Nicholson St. And Victoria Pde. It is well serviced by public transport with
Parliament Station 200m away, and 86, 96, 109, 112, tram lines passing
right by. Best parking option is under the Melbourne Museum just north of
the hospital off Nicholson St at $9.00 per day.

There are numerous 2-5 star hotels within walking distance of the
hospital, further details can be provide on request

Would have loved to attend but it is differcuit if not impossible to get funding for trans tasman trips for one day. Is it possible that presentations will be avalible for review after the event?
Interested to keep up with progress.

I would have liked to have gone too, but like the others funding to get to Melbourne isn't easy. Although paying for a cd of the lectures is not out of the question if the speakers permit it.

Registrations will close this Wednesday 17/10/07.

It is hoped that the slides from the seminar will be available in some format. Once this is confirmed, I will post details here.
