Tash,

Martina here. Unfortunately I don't have a need now for a locum. I'm back at work myself. However, a colleague in the west of Ireland is looking for someone. You can get in touch with me by email directly for the details. My address is martinapohara at hotmail dot com. (Just put it in the correct format - this is to stop spam)

Tash,

Im an Aussie pod who has just returned to Oz after working in Ireland since Jan. I recommend you contact Donald Maxwell who is on the Chiropody and Podiatry Board in Ireland. He seems to know or be told of most of the jobs that are going around. You should be able to find his phone number on the net. I didn't have any difficulty finding work when I was there and assume you wont have too many troubles either.

Hi Tash,

Just found your post on the employment section,
did you find work in Ireland?

There is a GP room available in Macroom in Cork, he is desperate to get a podiatrist into the town but that would mean setting up and might be too much hassle,

There will be posts coming up in Cork now that the HSE employment freeze has been lifted, but I dont know how long you would have to wait for all that to come through, nothing advertised as of yet.

Elizabeth
