Default UK qualifications in other countries

Podiatry Arena members do not see these ads
I've been told the qualifications obtained in the UK are not valid in the USA. Is that true? Any other countries where this is the case? And Why??

You hear correctly. Have a look around elsewhere on this forum for more info on this.

Briefly, there is more surgical emphasis, and the training period is longer than the Uk. I'm sure some of our colleagues from the USA who post here will be better placed to expand on this than me.
