Dear All,

If you are a member of SOCAP

Then you might care.

If you voted

Then you do care.

If you are not a member then i presume that you could not care less.

Members had an opportunity to vote. many did and that view was the outcome. The outcome being to maintain the status quo, preserving the History of this Profession in the title of the Society.

My motivation was to not lose the title Chiropodist as there was a chance that the unregulated sector would make a determined effort to attain the title.

I support this supposition by the number of FHP's who allude to being Fully Qualified Foot Health Practitioners, but say they do Chiropody.

So obviously to many FHP's the title Chiropodist is still held in high esteem.

This is just my humble opinion.

regards David
