Supreme Court rejects podiatrists' claims of discrimination in reimbursements

The Connecticut Supreme Court says an insurance company did not discriminate by paying lower reimbursements to podiatrists than to other doctors.

In a 6-1 ruling released Friday, the justices said state law prohibits insurers from denying reimbursement, but does not forbid them from paying varying amounts to different specialists.
