    Podiatrists robbed by Sydney gunman

    Posted October 25, 2011 08:29:21

A podiatry clinic in north-western Sydney has been robbed by a masked man with a sawn-off shotgun.

Police say two staff were finishing their shift at the clinic on Riverview Street in Richmond when the gunman walked in about 6:30pm (AEDT) yesterday.

The man was wearing a dark green balaclava and demanded money.

He took a quantity of cash, which he stashed in a wine cooler bag before leaving the clinic.

A warning for us all to review our practice's emergency and safety policy

l have a few police as clients, one of them is Head of Armed Robbery
and he told me "Banks dont get robbed, Casino robberies are slowing and
the criminal element are now moving to softer targets that dont have security people and CTV, you are a target.

Remember all that you can, give them what they want, giving them the days takings is cheaper than the other alternative might be.

Glad to hear all are safe.
