Durable accommodative orthotic materials

Aside from differing durometer plastazote composition I would like some different viewpoints regarding materials used in constructing an effective durable accommodative lower profile orthotic to help offload peak pressure on the neuropathic foot.

Poron on its own is good, but better when layered with plastazote, in my experience.

 

At the lab we direct mill polyurethane shells.

Far superior to Eva and plastazote in my opinion.

I like Topy as a top cover, it comes in different durometers thicknesses, and is diabetic friendly. It holds up nicely, and I usually use it with an EVA 60 durometer "shell" and a poron or ELF mid layer. Works for me.
