Talking Student Pod needs experience

Hi all,

My name is Danielle and I am currently tackling the 2nd yr of my podiatry degree at the University of Western Sydney. I have just come back from external placement (for those not familiar with the term it’s a glorified expression for work experience) and have come to realise how important it is to get infield experience whilst still studying, it’s completely different to see a condition in a text book than real life. The purpose of this message is to beg clinical experience! I would be quite happy to travel within the Sydney area.

Also, can anyone provide me with information on which countries Australian trained podiatrists can work in and what conditions they are likely to work in? It is a distant dream to travel once I can see past my text books.

Cheers All

Ill check back on my message but just incase I can't navigate my way back this is my email address (though I think you can view it on my profile)
